There are two main elements that a cordless screwdriver needs to have in my
opinion. Small, comfortable size, and a nice
combination of speed and power.
The Bosch PS20 meets those criteria very nicely.
It feels good in the hand and has ample power to drive long fasteners quickly thanks
to the 10.8V Lithium-ion battery technology.
With the handy nose-mounted light you'll be able to not only reach tight spots, but
also see what's going in there.
A Bosch PS20 recharges in about 30 minutes and lasts longer than it takes to
charge. You get up to 400 RPM and 11 clutch
settings for the $130 price tag.
One of the reasons to have such
a light screwdriver is for doing overhead work.
Heavy drills make for a tired arm.
Perfect for installing trim, decks, hardware, windows, cabinets and
more. Even 3" screws are no match for the power
of the Bosch PS20. In fact, in a durability
test, this screwdriver sunk 167 2 1/4" screws on a single charge.
If you are looking for durability and convenience, you can't match the Bosch
PS20.
As far as bits, a standard 1/4" hex shank makes it convenient. Note that you cannot drill holes with this tool, it is
meant especially for driving fasteners.
As a second tool, the Bosch PS20 is very nice to have on installations, even if
you're need to drill holes and drive screws.
You can have your larger, heavier drill for drilling the holes and have your handy
Bosch PS20 at hand to drive the screws, thus eliminating the need to switch bits and avoiding
the purchase of a more expensive standard drill/driver.
