A Bosch cordless screwdriver is powerful and allows you to drive all types of
fasteners quickly. They feature forward and
reverse settings which mean that you can not only screw fasteners in, but you can also screw
them out.
Being able to remove fasteners is of great benefit to any driver.
A Bosch cordless screwdriver is slightly different from a standard drill/driver in
that they are not shaped 'like a gun' but more like a regular hand screwdriver. There is an added benefit to this. If the batteries run out in the middle of a job, most
cordless drivers are able to function just like a regular non-powered screwdriver.
The motor locks in place when no power is applied, so you can still use it like a
screwdriver if the batteries die.
Most cordless screwdrivers come with a standard set of slotted (regular) and
Phillips bits. Some may even come with a socket
set allowing you to fasten bolts.
A Bosch cordless screwdriver develops more torque than you can with a non-powered
screwdriver and they also function more quickly meaning you'll get those fasteners secured
much more quickly than if you were to try to do it by hand.
While standard cordless drill/drivers are somewhat heavy and large, Bosch cordless
screwdrivers are small, light-weight, and easy to position in tight places.
One important factor to take into consideration is that many muscle injuries can
result from repetitive motion, such as turning a handheld non-powered
screwdriver. Injuries such as carpel tunnel
syndrome and even tendinitis are all too common even in the construction industry.
If you use a screwdriver frequently throughout the day, you'll find that using a
cordless driver lessens your chance of these injuries, and allows you to be much more
efficient by completing your tasks more quickly.
A Bosch cordless screwdriver is a wise investment that will pay back dividends in
both speed and injury prevention.
